sonstiges	MISS FITZ Maayan Nidam aka Miss-Fitz aka Laverne Radix has been spinning and producing music since 1999. Her releases can be found on Raum…musik, Freak n' Chic and on Circus Company. On Kalimari she releases as Uli Kunkel (together with Shaun Reeves & Lee Curtiss), on Oslo as well as on Cyclical Tracks she releases as Mara Trax (together with Vera). Her music has been remixed by Ricardo Villalobos, Jeff Samuel, Ryan Crosson, Mossa, Pheek, Spasm and others. In April 2008 Miss Fitz released „Drifting On" on Jay Haze's Contexterrior, which became a huge hit in the electronic dance scene. Heard for the first time, 'Drifting' convinces the listener that Miss Fitz has sampled a huge chunk of a Nina Simone song, but listening to it again, it's clear that the soulful tones belong to the author. Set to a sombre beat and a more upbeat dubby rhythm track on the edit, it's one of the best examples of the creative art of vocal sampling. Although based in Berlin Fitz keeps on the move, spinning a mixture of underground house and techno around the globe in venues such as Colors Studio in Tokyo, Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, Club Transmediale Berlin, Wolf+Lamb in NY, Decadance in Belgium, Mono-Club in Amsterdam, Pacotek in Jerusalem, Hive Club and Cityfox @ Alte Boerse in Switzerland and many more, making frequent appearances around Berlin on her "space mokeys unite!" nights at Watergate and Arena Club, as well as in changing venues in London. On the rest of her time Fitz reviews music for Vice magazine (Germany) and posts for Underground-Amputations.

His early teenager years are stamped by HipHop from crews like NWA, Gang Starr and A Tribe called Quest, who have been his undisputed heroes. Even today, Fengler spins some HipHop, but only in private. His interest in electronic music on the other hand has been inspired by continuous experiences in Berlin based techno clubs like E-Werk in the early 90s. The heavy, progressive synth- and acid sounds of this era still wield some magical power on Fengler today. „As the musical range today is vaster than ever, it is really important to me in which context I'm playing out my records. That' why I love traditional labels like Planet E, M-Plant and Internal and artists like Ron Trent, Kenny Larkin, Kevin Saunderson, and Chez Damier as much as I like comtemporary artists like Sleeeparchive or Lessismore." Since the mid 90s, Marcel played at „Club im Park", a youth club in Fürstenwalde, where he later launched a party series called „SC 93" together with Marcel Dettmann. In 1997 he started to play at Berlin's Tresor among other clubs and when Berghain openend in 2004, he became a resident on our big techno floor. „It is important to me that music tells kind of a story using varied styles from all eras. That's why I favour to build my sets up, then down again. It has to be varied and it has to snake through the night in waves."

From 92-94 they released some of the best Junglistic'ardcore there was. Classics like Darkness, Weekend, Dub plate Wars, 2 Dope EP, and artists like TDK whose TOG sub label was a peak of amen choppage. Brain also put out the debut releases of Technical Itch, Peshay and DJ Zinc and Slammin' Vinyl's Mike Slammer and Red Alert's first two releases. Bizzy also released many a classic on other labels such as Whitehouse, Suburban Base and many more. His own production / studio hire company called B Productions aimed at helping new talents and putting tracks together. This Studio saw the birth of still highly successful Beatfreaks. Engineering for chart artists such as DJ Luck & MC Neat, B Productions has become one of London’s most successful dance recording studios. In 2002 Brian was producing 2-step and Breaks with his Undercover Agents label and still releasing drum'n'bass under Warped Science. Brian's EPs for us are a new update of the Old Skool sound. "New Old School" if you will. As a producer, he first got attention through a lot of old-school-influenced neo-jungle tunes. His jungle stuff tends to be very heavy on drumwork and edits, with a lot of gangsta rap influence and a little bit of ragga influence. After some successful jungle releases on Mashit, Clash, and some other labels, as well as a fair chunk of press exposure from XLR8R, Grooves, BBC Radio 1, Pitchfork Media, and loads of others, Murderbot founded his own label, Dead Homies, as an outlet for catchy, dancefloor-worthy, well-produced, forward-thinking jungle and dubstep. In addition to jungle, however, he is a huge nerd about a lot of other genres: classic rave, speed garage, chicago house, ghettotech / juke, dancehall, electro, bassline, new wave, post-punk, soca, dubstep, and most of all disco. In the past few years he has been taking the focus off of jungle and set up a second label, Sleazetone Records, to put out sleaze pop, hi-NRG, tech house, juke / ghettotech, rave revival type stuff, speed garage. Their first project, a CD and series of singles by Kansas City-based art collective Ssion, has gotten a ton of positive press, and this is just the beginning.
