System F is the best-known alias of one of the world's best electronic music producers, Ferry Corsten. System F's debut single, 'Out Of The Blue', was first released in 1999 on Tsunami, Ferry's imprint around those days.

There are almost no limits to what impact "Out Of The Blue" made on the music scene around that time. Not only did it become a massive chart hit in many countries, but it completely changed what electronic music was about at that time, and it was the first noteable milestone which opened doors for the second generation of big trance jocks, being Ferry Corsten, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren. "Out Of The Blue" was licensed to U.K.. Spain, Japan, Germany, France, Australia and many more, ended up on millions of compilation copies, and topped various international hit charts.

Obviously Ferry continued with the System F project, launching the beautiful vocal single "Cry" as follow-up, with original remixes by Oliver Lieb and Rank 1.

Later singles were the anthem for 2001's Dance Valley, Holland's biggest outdoor dance festival, and a collaboration with Armin van Buuren on the track "Exhale". All these gems and many more (including a song with Soft Cell's Marc Almond) can be found on the album 'Out Of The Blue'.


A remastered re-release of the album is scheduled for February 22nd 2010, where the original album will be complimented with a second disc with many of the original remixes and unreleased material.

The name System F comes from Ferry's systematic way of producing, as he always start with looking for a melody, then fills in the bass and kick, and so on, and so on, and the F obviously stands for fantasic, fabulous, Ferry! The Game ::

FC System F is an online platform, where you can compete to become a part of the the greatest team in trance history. How? It's easy!

www.fcsystemf.com have created an exciting competition, where you will have a chance to remix any or all of the System F tracks that are currently listed in the schedule, except Out Of The Blue, which is the keeper and kick-off track and already has been remixed by Tiësto, Laidback Luke, Koen Groeneveld and many more.

However, there's 10 other original tracks presented here in our line-up, which are all in need of new remixes, and we invite you to do so!

Every week starting Februari 2nd, we will post the original outtakes/parts of a System F track on this website for you. After agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you will be able to download the outtakes for free, and start with your remix. You first need to register at www.fcsystemf.com, but registration is also free.

Latest 3 weeks after the parts have become available, you need to submit your remix to us to enter the competition, by sending us a download link to [email protected]. We will carefully listen to all the remixes, and put the best remixes up on this portal, in a so-called voting pool.

We will notify everyone when a new vote is starting through e-mail and on our twitter account, twitter.com/fcsystemf.

At that time, everyone can go to the voting pool to vote for their favourite remix for a period of 1 week, after which we close the voting and see which remix has made it into the final FC System F line-up.

So what's the big deal, besides eternal fame?

Of course each winning remix will take its position in the FC System F line-up, and we'll make sure it becomes an official release soon after the election. Your remix will not only be made available for purchase here, but we will place it everywhere as an official System F remix.

And even better, after the FC System F season ends, your mix will end up on the FC System F "Champions" album, which will be released all over the world as a compact disc and download package.

Oh yeah, we will pay a remix fee for each winning remix of Euro 250,00, and you get a free soccer gift package including a jacket, shirt and soccer ball, as you can see in the FCSF shop.

So what if you made a remix and you didn't win? Well, everyone who
turns in a remix to this portal will get a nice personal mention thank you in the booklet of the FC System F "Champions" album, and we'll randomly give away 100 free copies to people who have entered the competition.
