Bryan has been at the cutting edge of new music’s and a crucial link in the logical evolution of the sound, that has now led to drum and bass: no one better than him can explain that this sound is the result of a long and very natural progression, and is deeply rooted. Born in Gloucester, DJing at Reggae sound systems from the age of 13, Bryan moved to London at 18. Settling in Brixton, Bryan started listening to all kinds of music; jazz, soul, funk, rare groove and hip-hop which reached the UK in the mid-eighties. But the major element in the equation had to be the emergence of acid house in 1987, that Bryan followed, going to Spectrum and The Beat Route. His friendship with Jumping Jack Frost, met while DJing, blossomed. They both set up Passion, a pirate radio station in Balham and acquired quickly a huge following. Highly respected by cutting edge record labels and artists, he always managed to get high profile guests like Frankie Bones and Louie Vega, and was one of the first British DJ to play ‘French Kiss’ on air. Bryan’s daytime jobs at Republic and Rhythm King’s subsidiary Outta Rhythm, where he was promoting Warp’s LFO, Leftfield, Baby Ford, Dave Angel, Joey Beltram and Moby (one of his tips for the top by then !) earning Bryan respect across the board. Around the time Rhythm King disintegrated, Bryan came across a demo tape and loved its combination of soulful, reggae vibe and sharp breakbeats. Bryan went to Bristol and met the people behind the tape; two guys called Roni Size and DJ Krust. Dismissed by the A&R people he approached who did not believe in this new, explosive sound, Bryan set up V Recordings (www.vrecordings.com) with Frost and released the tracks on the tape. It sold very little but the units increased quickly and steadily. Bryan found a great opportunity to showcase his new releases in London with weekly club ‘Movement’ at Bar Rumba on Thursdays, started with Emotif Records and promoters Bulldozer. The club nights have proven to be the most versatile drum and bass showcase in London (www.movement.co.uk) With constant touring as well as mixing an album retracing 3 years of Movement residency, Bryan Gee is kept busy and happy. Bryan has now also taken command of the airwaves with the biggest show on Ministry of Sound radio, attracting a worldwide audience. DJ Mosus Mosus had a great childhood, growing up in dunedin new zealand with an eclectic musical background, his mother a punk guitarist and father an avid vinyl collector introduced him to the futurist sounds of brian eno, david bowie, prince, jimi hendrix, devo, sexpistols, bob marley and everything in between. Mosus was gripped by the vinyl bug and at the tender age of 12 his father gave him his first belt driven turntable complete with built in speaker and cabinet. From then Mosus hustled his hard earned cash on hiphop records and at 15 got his first set of technics 1200 turntables and a mixer. He gained a reputation as a skooled up hiphop dj until he came across some jungle records in a second hand record bin - from this point on Mosus carved out a name for himself on student radio stations in the South Island of New Zealand where he was brought up.> These early experiences on the radio earnt him bookings at events across NZ and Australia - it was these small parties which quickly got him noticed and it wasn't long before a young Mosus was in demand across the country. As the years went by Mosus continued to push the sounds of dnb with regular radio shows, dnb club nights and tours across NZ and Australia. Touring and promoteing with the likes of Shy fx, Bailey, Dillinja & Lemon d, Krust, Die and Bryan G as well as djing alongside every international name to come to NZ. it wasn't long b4 Mosus felt it was time to leave NZ In 2003, with an invaluable chunk of experience under his belt, Mosus made the move to London where he teamed up with Bryan G from vrecords one of the most respected drum & bass djs and labels. Mosus' responsibility within this label has increased rapidly, taking on a full time position and solidifying his position in the dnb industry. Currently Mosus produces and co hosts Bryan G's weekly "Sound of Movement radio show" on www.MinistryofSound.com digital radio. Mosus's career has been boosted to new levels with a highly sought after residency at the legendary Thursday night Bar Rumba session at the premier club Movement. . As well as playing regularly at fabio's "swerve" london club night @ The End and Liquid v and Chronic record nights across europe and asia. As for the future, Mosus' burgeoning international status will keep growing with forthcoming releases and dj dates all over the planet .With backing from key players such as Bryan Gee, Jumping Jack Frost and all the Movement crew. Mosus is set to progress to the next level both as a dj and as a producer. Keep ya ears to the underground and keep it trillah... www.myspace.com/djmosus |

Heute Abend - neuer MC!
