Ultrasound Recordings Set To Release "Ultrasessions1" Mixed by Boo Williams

TORONTO, On. - Jan/2003 - Ultrasound Recordings is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their first commercial mix-cd entitled "Ultrasessions1", featuring tracks exclusively from the Ultrasound catalogue. This mix-cd is mixed by none other than Boo Williams, newly signed to Ultrasound. This is Boos first commercial mix-cd in years and Ultrasound is anticipating positive response globally.

"I felt it was only fitting to have a house legend like Boo mix our debut mix-cd; he's one of very few that I would trust to mix all our released and unreleased records", says Chad Brown, President of Ultrasound Recordings.

"Ultrasessions1" will feature over 13 released and unreleased tracks exclusively from Ultrasound Recordings, produced by artists such as Johnny Fiasco, Fish Go Deep, Daniell Spencer, Chorduroy Music, DJ Motion, West Magnetic, Sean Smith, Cesar Ramirez and Holy C. The musical angle of the mix can be described as funky and soulful house, interwoven with jazzy elements.

As one of the premier representatives of the Chicago sound, Boo has headlined the world's most famous clubs including Ministry of Sound (London), Fuse (Brussels), and E-Works (Berlin) as well as countless events in every major US market from NYC to San Francisco. His recent headlining set at the Homelands Festival (Ireland) saw Boo educating 40,000 students on quality house music - past, present, and future. Boo's production work ranges from tech-house classics on Relief and disco based dance floor cuts on Cajual, to Strictly Jaz Unit styled tracks for Ovum, Guidance and Nite Life Collective.
