Hey Tecxx,
Can you post this for me. Im not going to put it on discogs. thanks adam This post is in response to my thread which I started on Discogs.com which I am a regular member of. Id like to answer many of the posts here but unfortunately Babblefish can only translate in certain parts so Im having a hard time reading exactly what is being said. What I will say here is that I was highly looking forward to play my gig at Flex. I have not been to Vienna since the last 90's and I was super excited to play this event. I like to build a repotoires with promoters who I play for but Rudy(Crazy Sonic) seemed to be not interested in responding to about three e-mails I had sent him. On the night of the event I tryed joking with him about the e-mail thing. Im not sure if he took my joke as such when I asked him if he was archaic about e-mails. Anyway my beef with Rudy stemmed at the end of my set. After having to deal with the aggravation of two people mentioned in my previous post. Rudy comes up and asks me to take less money. I laid out travel costs out of pocket to go to and from Vienna and I needed to be reimbursed. Asking to take less money is not the problem here with Rudy though. My problem was about him being rude by not saying thank you for playing but instead immediatley asking me to take less money. This combined with no responses on my e-mails made me feel Rudy didnt have much respect for me. If I was treated respectfully I would of not post my thoughts about what had happenend As I said above I build repotoires with promoters. I almost always play for the same promoters again such was the case with XXX in Vienna who threw the Gasometer parties. I played three times for them and they were great to work with. Truthfully I felt from the start of the night a bad vibe with Rudy and I expected he wouldnt book me again. Which was a main reason why I wouldnt take last money on the night. Why should I anyway? I throw parties and I always pay what was agreed upon to the dj's. Throwing parties is a gamble. Sometimes you make alot sometimes you dont. I dont ever recall getting paid extra when there are more people then expected. As for the drunken idiot who lifted my cigarattes and in the process knocked the beer over...he was the reason why I got security in the first place. The beer wasnt spilled the second time security came up on stage. On top of it only the microphone line had beer spilled in it. I had no problem mixing fine after the drunk guy. So how could the headphone cue have a problem with it? I find it quite amusing that Rudy is now blaming me for spilling the beer. Rudy you must be joking me. Really...and Rudy calling me a girly in this post just shows more on how you are disrespectful to the people who are working for you. You say I was being complicated. Asking for help on looking into a flight is complicated? I didnt want to play at Midnight but did I ask you to change it. "NO" is the answer. So please explain what did I do that made things so complicated that you had to have attitude towards me. The comment I made about many of the minimal loop dj's being aggorant was one of stereotype. Unfortortunaely the hard minimal loop scene seems to breed quite a few compared to djs wjo play other styles of electronic music. I know many other dj's whom had similar run ins with arrogant dj's in this scene. Ive met quite a few myself. So perhaps Im guilty of stereotyping. So I apologize if I offended anyone here. As for me being arrogant Im far from it. If I was I wouldnt spend my time writing this. I have alot of fun doing what I do and I treat people with respect on a down to earth level. I planned on spending most of my night at Flex after spinning as I wanted to have some fun however the events of the night made me feel like leaving. If anyone feels like responding back to me please feel free. As I said above Babblefish doesnt translate German to English to well. So if you have a comment to make to me please write it in English if you can. Im always open for discussion.
