This is the official video introduction to the M-Audio Venom, introduced last week at the 2011 NAMM Show.

The video features testimonials from veteran synthheads The Crystal Method, Mark Mothersbaugh, and James Dewees – but the segments featuring the synths designer, Taiho Yamada, are probable the most interesting.

The M-Audio Venom synthesizer is designed to combine the character of analog synths with modern digital processing, to deliver an ‘aggressive’ sound. Venom offers 12-voice polyphony, three oscillators per voice, ring mod, tube-style saturation, six resonant filter types, on-board effects, and a built-in Pro Tools M-Powered compatible interface.

hm sehr kreativ

ein rompler in einem keyboard... ein vst plugin + midicontroller kommt aufs gleiche.

m-audio ist für mich so wie so gestorben.

Ich habe ne M-Audio Transit, die haben es seit 2009 (wir haben 2011) keinen Funktionierenden Win7 (32/64bit) Treiber geschrieben, sie haben es versprochen, geprädigt - es wird was kommen - ES KAM NIX!!! Die Transit wurde weiter verkauft - doch 000000000000000,0000000 SUPPORT - geschweige den Funktionierende Treiber. ---DER BUG TRAT BEI JEDEM USER AUF DER WIN7 HATTE!!!!
(BUG: Funkt nur im 16Bit Modus - Karte stellt sich aber immer wieder auf 24Bit zurück... zudem ist 16Bit grauenhaft...da brauch ich keine extra karte da kann ich auch onboard nehmen...) -Ajo die MAC treiber funken anscheinend.

als audiointerface würd ich m-audio auch nicht unbedingt empfehlen

als patchplayer mit editor scheint mir das teil aber durchaus was zu taugen, wobei da noch paar drehregler, buttons mehr hätten locker platz gehabt

eben > nur patchplayer in diy geht da viel einfacher.
irgend a midicontroller (inkl. keyboard oder ohne für die die schon eins haben sch.. egal)
und fertig ;-)

des is irgendwie wieder so ein produkt für absolut planlose 0815 leut wo sich ein hersteller halt schnell a paar hunderter mit einem 0815 "synth" checken kann (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
