Randall Jones is known, worldwide, as being a veteran international DJ and producer that brings an energy and a vibe to an event that is uniquely his own. Randall Jones is based in Houston, USA but he tours extensively, playing in cities like Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Tokyo, Cordoba, Santiago, Lima, Budapest, Mexico City, New York City, Montreal, San Francisco, Amsterdam, London and many more. He is asked back time and time again to play at sold out venues because of his unique ability to rock any dance floor with a sound that is thick, sexy and dirty.

In the studio, Randall Jones produces originals and remixes that have been released on some of the best dance music labels in the world. Record labels like Bedrock, End Recordings, Saw Recordings, Hooj, Low Pressings, Deep Records and Renaissance Recordings have snapped up Randall’s work and he is consistently releasing singles as well as remixes and promoting his own record label, Mynt Music. Mynt’s home base is Randall Jones’ recording studio in downtown Houston, where he also produces music for TV shows and commercials. You can hear Randall's music broadcast on shows like CSI, Making of the Band, America’s Top Model, The Discovery Channel, Science Channel and MTV. Randall Jones is a rarity in the music industry today. Randall Jones is an American DJ that has logged over 18 years of experience playing in nightclubs worldwide.
In Randall's world of sound, inspirations from technology, B-boy culture, the jetset, anime, and far eastern influences collide with loose, swinging beats and low slung funk to create a sound that is uniquely his.

Randall initially explored his sound djing on the New York club circuit in the early to mid nineties, playing at legendary clubs like The Tunnel, Vinyl, Save The Robots, The Roxy and Twilo. He held a monthly residency at world famous Stereo Nightclub in Montreal and played up and down the eastern seaboard of the USA. In 1997, with the help of mentors Josh Wink and King Britt, Randall gained an internship in a top Philadelphia recording studio and began his study of the production boards.
Randall's productions initially gained global attention through his work with Philadelphia-based Tigerhook Corps. in the early part of the 21st century. Seminal releases on Mr. C's End Recordings from London led to their work being snapped up by a cross section of labels from Satoshi Tomiie's Saw Recordings to mega label Hooj Choons and John Digweed's Bedrock.
In 2003 Randall moved from Philly to NYC to setup shop at Jimmy Van M's Delta Heavy Studios and to intensify his global DJ touring schedule. Whilst in New York, his studio work led to remixes and originals being released on Renaissance Recordings, Forensic Records, System Recordings, Bedrock and many other top labels within the genre.

After 18 years of djing in nightclubs and 10 years of being a fulltime DJ and recording artist, Randall has rocked the house at the glitziest mega clubs to the hottest beach parties to the dirtiest underground cellar jams. He has DJed across the world, making tour stops in London, NYC, Honolulu, Tokyo, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Amsterdam, Singapore, Lima, Mexico City, Montreal, LA, Miami and literally hundreds of other cities across the world.

The mix you hold in your hand is a reflection of these travels combined with his own American influences.
Within this mix lies a futuristic soundscape...a world of cracking beats, thick bass and sublime grooves.
Randall goes for the best parts of tech, progressive and tribal house and combines rolling bass with sizzling, swinging beats and technological soundscapes to create a sound like Bladerunner on funk.

100% an American man, Randall Jones is not your typical American DJ. The artists presented in this mix reflect a diverse style that touches on different genres that have been influential on the American club circuit and in Randall's sets in particular. From the ambient textures of Opencloud and Chris Fortier's "Sorry I'm Wrong", the mix starts off with a sound that is pure American house. The presentation develops through the deeper opening half of the mix into the more tribal moments of Saeed Younan, and Joeski.
The mix then picks up the energy as it rolls into the more heads down work on the mixes of Josh Wink and Derek Howell.
If you listen carefully, you can hear samples stitched into the mix that characterize Randall's unique take on the American lifestyle and vibe.
