MASCHINE combines the flexibility of computer-based music production with the ease of a groove box into one powerful creative tool. The MASCHINE controller intuitively channels your creative impulses into total interaction with the software. Hmmmm,... nettes aber überteuertes Konzept.

Um € 600 die es allem Anschein nach kosten wird bekomme ich: Upgrade aufAbleton Suite 8, die Akai APC40 und das MAX/MSP System und da habe ich ein bisserl mehr und kann mir auch Hard/Software Stepsequenzer bauen wie ich lustig bin,...

Hammer wäre das Teil wenn es 16 Steps in Reihe hätte und das mal 8 oder so, aber dafür gibts ja wohl den Monome....

Ich glaube, so geile Sachen es von NI auch gibt (obwohl mir das meiste ausser dem Massive evtl. zu viel Blinki-Blinki-Bunt-Hurra ist), das wird eine Totgeburt, zumindest zum kolpotierten PReis von € 600,--. Bei der Hälfte lasse ich mir das einreden, aber so,... noja (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Alles zurück, durfte das Teil heute mal antesten, Waaaahhnsinn,... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wow.gif)

Das Teil bringt den Spass am Sequenzen mit Lauflicht wie bei meinen ersten Electribes zurück (der ist mir bei Software immer abgegangen) und noch massig mehr.

Mit dem Ding kann man endgeile Livespielereien ganz ohne Ableton anstellen. Der Performance/Scenes Mode ist echt komplex ohne Ende.

Hatte den Eindruck das ist eine Mischung aus MPC, Electribe (oder sonstige Lauflichtgoove(nicht nur Drum!)box) die den Vorteil einer Verwaltung und Kapazität einer Festplatte mit sich bringt.

Werd mir das nochmal anschauen gehen am Wochenende und dann überlege ich mir das echt, das stellt nach dem Antesten echt vieles bisher gesehenes in den Schatten.... und ich bin skeptisch geworden nach jahrelangem kaufen-verkaufen von Dingen, oft nur zum Draufkommen, dass ich mit Software und Midicontrollern den Workflow von Hardware nicht erreichen kann und jetzt bam, beide Welten in einem vereint... ganz grosses Kino!

naja...der Fruity Loops Step/Pattern sequenzer war/ist eh erste sahne

Naja pattern/stepsequenzer sind sich ziemlich aehnlich, das faszinierende in diesem fall sind die fast grenzenlosen moeglichkeiten die einem das zusammenspiel vom perfekt abgestimmter software und hardware, jenseits von herkoemmlichen softwareeditoren ermoeglichen. Computermusik ohne midiimplementationen und halbpassenden controllern die immer nur einen kompromiss darstellen.

ja..die lauflichtprogrammierung ist bei der machine total easy, siehe testvideo

andere für beaterstellung hergestellte controller sehen schon ziemlich alt aus dagegen

Wobei es fuer ableton kein problem darstellen duerfte ein Patch fuer die akai mpd serie zu machen um einen aehnlichen stepsequenzer zu benutzen, aber die versuchen lieber die apc und max zu verkaufen... Und die riskieren damit kunden zu veraergern...wenn mir maschine zum jammen taugt brauche ich ggf nur einen sequenzer linearer natur fuer tracks basteln und das muss nicht zwanggslaufig ableton sein...

FAZIT

Zusammengefasst kann man sagen, dass die MASCHINE wegweisend aufzeigt, wie Hardware und Software ausgezeichnet miteinander harmonieren können. Durch die große Kontrolle kommt man großteils von der Maus weg. Die Intuition und Kreativität einer Hardware-Drum-Machine wird mit der Editing-Komfortabilität, dem großen Sample-Speicher, der Rechenpower und den viele RAM-Ressourcen einer DAW kombiniert. Das Konzept bringt frischen Wind in die Szene, ist das erste seiner Art (Hartmann Neuron VS zählt nicht), um die mangelnde Bedienbarkeit von Software anzugehen.

zumindest was die die Clipmatrix betrifft.... Einziger Unterschied: Lediglich 4 Tracks statt 8 gleichzeitig zu sehen...

oha...gefällt mir enorm gut mit ableton, auch die möglichkeit durch die scenes zu navigieren wie mit den cursourtasten und die rückmeldung auch wieder mit den blinkenden pads

Ja, werde mir die maschine anstatt der apc holen, in summe kriegst mehr fuers geld, eine software mpc mit hardwarecontroller, letztendlich einen hardwarepatternsequenzer der auch in live rennt, beim naechsten update kann man naemlich auch die drumracks in live wie patter spielen, ohne apc und max for live.
