BIOGRAPHY

Bernhard Pucher (aka Brian Aneurysm, EchoPilot, and Confutatis) has been actively DJing since 1996. Though back then still spinning and producing trance, and progressive house, his love for techno would emerge fairly quickly.

In 1998 he moved to Dallas, TX, where he experienced a completely different environment for electronic music. His influences then grew into a much bigger realm, reaching from industrial (Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails) to Hard Techno. But as the production quality increased, he slowly but surly stuck with the techno sound. In 2000, Bernhard and his friend Stefan Anion started the AI Collective, trying help newcomer Live PAs to get their start in the scene. But after a year of doing that, the members of the collective started going their own ways.

After learning more and more about production, his friend Eric Estornel introduced him to minimal techno and the growing tech-house sound. Both grew on him fairly quickly, and by January 2002 released the first EP on his own label IRON BOX MUSIC. With several successful releases under his wing, other labels (Poker Flat, Ware Records, Sub-static) started picking up on his musical talent.

Now he's successfully producing, spinning, and releasing Techno to the world.
