[SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1]2004 marks the 10th anniversary for electro music label F-Communications . Founded in 1994 by Eric Morand and Laurent Garnier the label keeps going from strength to strength, each year bringing excellent new artists to the fore. Looking to the future for their birthday, the FCom team are working on a number of forthcoming releases and tours. New material from The Youngsters, Avril, Vista Le Vie, Llorca, Readymade FC and Laurent Garnier, plus the debut 12” from Think Twice. In 2005 we see the awaited new Llorca Album and a new longplayer from finlands best, Jori Hulkkonen . So we are happy to welcome him again in vienna. About Jori Hulkkonen Born in Kemi/Northern Finland, Jori Hulkkonen was bred on a diet of quirky Finnish pop (anyone who has witnessed a Eurovision Song Contest will empathize with him) and early '80s electronic music. In '89, after hearing "Sueño Latino" by Manuel Göttsching (of Ash Ra Tempel), Hulkkonen decided to set up his own studio (it's amazing how many people cite that record as a prime motivating force to start producing). Four years later he formed his own imprint, Lumi, with Ari Ruokamo and Jukka Hautamäki. After a bunch of successful releases, Hulkkonen began releasing on other European labels, initially Hybrid and Trainspotter's Nightmare, both owned by Stockholm techno legend Cari Lekebusch. A year later, he cemented his position as a leading European producer of Detroit-style house with his debut album for F Communications, "Selkasaari Tracks". In addition to playing numerous live gigs and DJ spots, Hulkkonen has produced warming tech-funk for labels such as Djupt, EC Records, Keys Of Life, Pan, Placktown Sounds, and Brique Rouge. He has also been known to record as Jii Hoo, Eternal Boyman, Hösh and Zyntherius . Together with canadian producer Tiga, he entered the international charts with the millionselling cover version of the 80s slammer "Sunglasses at night". In '97, Hulkonnen produced a pair of albums, the delightfully deep "Love You Forever" (produced as Bobby Forester for Plumphouse) and the tougher "Finland: 0 points" (for Trainspotter's Nightmare). A year later, Hulkonnen produced his second album for F Communications, "The Spirits Inside Me", which paved the way for '00's "When No One Is Watching, We Are Invisible". Hulkonnen maintains a residency at Kerma and two national radio shows. Released in '00 on Montreal's Turbo, "Helsinki Mix Sessions" is a divine collection of deep and vocal house mixed with a masterful touch. His last Album "Different" released in 2002 on F-Communication was again a milestone in his carrer. In 2003, Jori did also a remix for "Pepita's Theme" by DHM's Pepita Project which got incredible international response. In 2005 Jori is entering again our hearts with a new album on F Com which is awaited here and everywhere. So join us for one night and follow the sounds and spheres of finnlands nr.1 producer with his unmistakable style behind the turntabels and celebrate 10 years of Electronic With No Limit. |

ZITAT(B. @ 27. Nov 2004, 14:58 ) F-Com gibt's echt erst seit 10 Jahren?
