Wow sehr fein!!!

Nur ist der 24te ein Sonntag (noch dazu am 25ten Carl Cox in town), hm kniet euch in die Promotion rein!

Ah ja und dann versorgt doch die Leute gleich noch mit Infos über diesen sehr feinen Act (ist ja schon sehr Spezialistenabteilung so far), wer derweil schon mal mehr über ihn wissen will - check out:

Finally gaining worldwide recognition from the techno community in 1999 with his stunning debut for Detroit’s 7th City label, Shawn Rudiman has rapidly built himself up to become one of the most eagerly observed figures in the scene. Writing futuristic and melodic music containing exceptional depth and funk, his ensuing reputation has been justly deserved.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, USA, he is renowned for his live sets as well as his releases – performances outstanding not only in their musical content but also the large degree of genuine improvisation that goes into them – each one a fluid jam, occasionally lasting up to five hours.

Shawn’s production style steers clear of any standard ‘club’ techno format, instead delving deep into the more jazzy, melodic, (and sadly oft neglected) side of the genre – layering synthetic chords, bass grooves, keyboard harmonies and sometimes vocal snippets to create thickly textured, subtely expanding and inimitably danceable works.

Shawn’s musical career began as one half of THD, an industrial/EDB group which gave him his first releases. After four albums and almost ten years involved in that project, he became influenced by the deeper, soulful grooves of Detroit techno – utilising his extensive collection of vintage analog equipment, he began experimenting with this music, producing and releasing first as Tr-Generation on his own Hypervinyl imprint, then more successfully as himself on Dan Bell’s 7th City Records– before recently setting up his current label, Technoir Audio.

Flo sei mir nicht böse, aber von aufrufen bzw. remindern auf`m TB wird die Hütte nicht voll!

Bis dato war von euch noch so gut wie nie jemand auf einem Event beim (mühsamen) hand2hand Flyern anzutreffen, ich gebe eurer Geschichte wenig Chancen (trotz des hervorragenden line ups, nur reicht das nicht). Ihr habt schwere Konkurrenz um euer date, nicht nur big names z.B. auch am >Samstag, 23.10.04 ist z.B. DJ Tobias Thomas (Total Confusion/Kompakt) mit der Kölner Band Von Spar (Minimonsters of Spex) < in der Viennale Zentrale (Urania) bei freiem Eintritt!!!

Ihr solltet bei diesem Line up eigentlich auf jeder Party anzutreffen zu sein, ebenso euch auch Pressetechnisch reinknien, beim flyern und Leute animieren - von nichts kommt nichts (nur wenig Leute bekommen von eurem Event mit)!
