While long term observations of far away galaxies, scientists could assert that this galaxies move in sinus sigmodial spirals. The sinus wave seems to be an omnipresent appearance that occurs in several ordinary incidences. Sinus force, who made a remix for the label "hoerspielmusik" (hsm38-3), presents us with his legoego release "Das Buch" the music to the same named short movie. As a part of his diploma this EP should give the interessted listeners the chance to step into the skin of the leading actor and empathize with his emotions.

The sinus is the force.


About this EP:
This EP is based upon the shortfilm "Das Buch" written and produced by Carsten Buch as the practical part of his diploma. It deals with the story of the film and mirrors it into a 4 track EP making the feelings of the protagonist hearable and giving the interested listener the possibility to sympathize with this feelings. At the same time this EP is the continuation of this film by starting, where the film has ended and ending, where the film has started. The logical conclusion of film and EP is a redundancy of the feelings, the protagonist has. This fact leads to a point of the plot, where this man will eat up himself from his inside because of his feelings. It is a cruel and insane world.

The production of this EP was a combination of different methods. The first track arised out of the sounddesign of the film itself. It was part of this sounddesign and because of this is used at the end of the film for the credits. After that I have recycled myself by sampling loops of this track and creating new sounds out of this. Thats the way the other tracks have been produced. All tracks are a combination of minimalistic techno, playfullness and soundscapes carrying different feelings. Although they are very different in style, you can hear that these tracks belong together somehow, they are sort of relatives. /by Carsten Buch

Böse, dunkle und knarzende Acid Bässe süß verpackt und verschachtelt in Minimalen Schaffelrhythmen und das ganze auch in Breakbeatausführung ... sehr schön ! (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/music.gif) ... dazu noch diese düsteren Stimmen was auch immer sie bedeuten mögen, kann mir das Video leider nicht ansehn !?

Ja stimmt bin schreibfaul aber hier muss man sagen ein sehr gelungenes Werk. Finde alle tracks gut, allerdings gefällt Nummer 1 am besten.

Ich möchte so etwas gerne auf vinyl haben!!!!
