If the die size of 205mm² is true, ATI could sell these things for really cheap. The Radeon HD 4830, with its 256mm² die size and 256-bit memory interface, is already selling for less than $130 USD. I'm thinking something more like this: Radeon HD 5870 X4 (Dual MCM, 800MHz Core, 2GB 1200MHz GDDR5) - $649 Radeon HD 5870 X2 (MCM, 800MHz Core, 1GB 1200MHz GDDR5) - $349 Radeon HD 5870 (800MHz Core, 512MB 1200MHz GDDR5) - $199 Radeon HD 5850 (600-650MHz Core, 512MB 1100MHz GDDR3) - $129" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Today appeared new information about the RV870 chip .
