Creamfields Central Europe announce first headliners

Festival Creamfields Central Europe (3rd – 4th July 2009 Breclav Airport) will announce the full lineup in April, but the organizers can confirm 2 big acts now.

Performing on the Global stage, with capacity of 7000 people, will be 2 icons of world trance music – the British trio Above&Beyond and the legendary German trance dj and producer ATB.

Jono Grant, Paavo Siljamaki and Tony McGuinness comprise the trio Above & Beyond, who have been one of the top acts on the trance scene for many years. Remixes for Madonna, Dido, Delerium and Britney Spears, the singles “Far From in Love“, “No One on Earth“, “Air for Life“, “Surrender“,“Good for Me“, “Can´t Sleep“, “Oceanic“, “Beaking Ties“, the album “Tri-State“, the Anjunabeats compilations, the Oceanlab and Tranquility Base projects and also the Anjunabeats label, one of the most highly respected trance label in the world… all this make up the oeuvre of Above & Beyond, recently rated number 4 in the DJMAG Top 100 DJ.



The second big name which is confirmed for the Global stage is a trance megastar from Germany – André Tannenberger, better known as ATB and recently rated number 25 in the DJMAG DJ Top 100.

This dj and producer has been one of the world’s premier for more than 10 years. He entered the music scene with the project Sequential One and since 1998 he has been producing under the nom de plume ATB. His longevity can be put down to his original style which combines trance and dance music with a wide range of other styles. Subtle melancholic melodies with calm parts and charismatic female vocals are what attracts his fans and these are exactly what we can expect during his show. The tracks “9PM (Till I Come)“, “Feel Alive“, “Marrakech“, “Let you Go“ or “Believe in Me“ are among his best productions. He is also a respected remixer – Michael Cretu from Enigma, William Orbit and Moby have all offered him their tracks to be remixed.

Now you see what the Creamfields festival is all about. Let´s look forward to the best of world trance! Above & Beyond and ATB are clear proof of that!
