Subsensory Recordings presents another funky release out of the Pacific Northwest United States techno scene that is making major waves on the region's dance floors. The Out Of Here EP from Seattle's DJ Jakub features three techy tracks with touches of funk, minimal, techno and house. The title track "Out of Here" is a peak hour tech tune with a funky beat, clean bassline, and an intense breakdown that is sure to get the place jumping. "Jak's 3AM Remix" takes the song another direction entirely with a dubbed out techno vibe and a laid back groove, definitely a crowd pleaser. “Hardtime” is sure to please with its glitchy minimal techno intro that quickly develops in to a full on driving techno beast. Whether you call it banging minimal or just straight up techno, “Hardtime” could very well be the surprise success on this EP.
