gibts hier auch Menschen, die unter Linux produzieren?

ich als alter Linux-Verehrer und Produzier-Anfänger hab auch scho gar kan Bock auf Ableton, Reason, Logic und wie die Geldabzocker auch alle heißen mögen!
deswegen hab ich mich endlich besonnen, lass das Live links liegen und werd demnächst Ubuntu Studio aufsetzen.

Ubuntu Studio is eine auf Multimedia zugeschnitte, freie (gratis, gratis, gratis) Version von Ubuntu Linux und bietet softwaremäßig so ziemlich alles und hat an auf Audio/Midibearbeitung umprogrammierten Kernel mit sehr geringen Latenzen. Die Hardware-Unterstützung soll recht gut sein, mit Soundkarten hats fast keine Probleme, es worken die meisten.

In der Audio-Sparte der Distribution sind ernstzunehmende Sequencer, Drum Machines, Synthesizer, Workstationverschnitte und etliche Plugins enthalten. Außerdem, Linux sei Dank, kann man das Alles mitsamt angeschlossener Hardware mittels "Jack", dem Sound-Server, in Echtzeit verwalten, Macht über alle Ein/Ausgänge und noch vieles mehr.

Leider bin i erst am Anfang, weshalb mich auch intressiert, obs hier Menschen gibt, die ebenfalls OpenSource bevorzugen und nicht BZÖ wählen? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
