Product Description
The Numark CDX1 is a CD player with an ultra-high torque motorized 12” platter that actually holds a vinyl record for the ultimate vinyl scratch emulation.

Styled after Numark’s flagship TTX1 turntable, the CDX1 features dual "battle-style" controls, forward/reverse toggle, and superior VFD multimode matrix display, full MP3 compatibility, slot-load CD transport, and extensive DSP functionality.

The CDX1 has several modes for scratching and looping, as well as beat-synched digital effects. There is extensive cue store/recall with multiple sets for each CD. The CDX1 has a fast, slot-load CD transport, and music can continue playing from the internal buffer after the CD is ejected. The CDX1 is MP3 compatible, and shows MP3 song titles in its display.

A. Torque is the force of the platter moving. In the CDX it is the current industry maximum of 4.5 Kgf/cm. This is important because, the DJ uses the resistance of this force in order to scratch effectively. Poor torque, such as that found with a belt drive, means the platter will not stand up to the rigors of heavy scratching.

A. MP3 features typically with be what is already offered on the CD Audio side of playback. MP3 files should be on a CDR and any text information such as song title will appear in the display

Q. What is smart looping?
A: Smart looping is a feature that lets the user make perfect loops every time by using the beatkeeper to create the loop. The user will press the smart loop button, then press the in and out buttons close to the beat they want to loop on. The beatkeeper aligns and quantizes the loop to be perfect. With the +/- buttons the user can then double or half the loop.

so jetzt muss ich auch meinen senf abgeben.

wieso geht eigentlich jeder davon aus das der cd player und der plattenspieler gleich funktionieren muss?
sind halt zwei techniken die man erlernen muss. und?
wer das auflegen draussen hat checkt den cd player in 2h.
wer nicht checkts sowieso nie.

ich find persönlich den pioneer 800 am besten (besser als den 1000er)
der ist robust, was sonst keiner ist!!!!!!!! bei einem angenehmen
kaufpreis von ca. €800 (verträgt zigaretten und bier!!!)
die pioneer sind sicher die verbreitesten und stehen auch in den
meisten tech.raid. habe noch nie probleme mit einem dicken act
und den cd playern.
der technics schaut gut aus hat viele fehler wird kaputt unter
clubbedingungen.
einziger vorteil, es wird die beschaffenheit der platte angezeigt (fläche, break etc.)
numark viele unnötige extras teuer wenig robust
alles anderen marken sind sowieso diskussionsunwürdig. gemini --> (IMG:http://www.technoboard.at/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)
die ganzen superschmankerl die viele aufgezählt haben,
sind imho total uninteressant ich hab schon sehr sehr viele
leute mit cd´s auflegen sehen und (fast) keiner brauchte mehr
als die standartfunktionen.

edit: bei platten gibts die spielerein auch nicht
ausserdem sollte man sich immer nur auf das verlassen
was sicher gegeben ist.

ich würd auch nicht fs und cd player vergleichen!
da gibts kein ist besser als etc.
2 verschieden paar schuhe.

zu den vinyljunkys:

ich leg auch am liebsten mit vinyl auf,
aber die zukunft spricht digital
und noch ist die diskussion nicht entweder oder.
zZ sollte man beides haben. leider

ich würd mein equipment nie!!! im mediamarkt kaufen
