TOM JAY
(valkana beach – fort bourguignon – radio svid RIJEKA / CROATIA)

Born in 1970, he started his career as a musician in the rock band "Gipss" from Rijeka. In 1994 he has released his first record and the year after a CD with that band. They split same year and then Tom started his DJ career turning himself from rock scene to the new techno scene in Croatia. Quickly after, in 1995 his first appearance was in one of the famous clubs in Rijeka (Quorum Colors). Since then he`s constatly performing through out Croatia expecially on the locale scene in Istria and Kvarner. Trough this years he has give his special "Underground Sky" feeling to all party-s, where he was performing (expecially crazy party-s in "Fort Bourguignon") .In that way he help in progress of techno scene in local area. His style is expression, expirience and fusion beatwean music, people and ambient. In 1998 he started his own organisation & label "Underground Sky" which deals with promotion and organisation of party-s and techno scene. From the year 2000 he has his own show ("Afther Midnight") on Radio "SVID" in Rijeka. He`s playing on a great numbers of party-s all around Croatia, Slovenia, BiH, Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Germany a.s.o.. His music style is based on Hardtrance but he use all styles of music to perform his act.
He played with names such as Sven Väth, Tom Novy, DJ Rush, Chris Liebing, Paul Oakenfeld, Tony De Vit, Max Graham, Chris Fortier, JP, Dave Randall and much, much more!
Tom Jay is the resident dj of the Valkana Beach Festival from its begining and the main figure of the clubbing nights called Midnight Lunch.
