hi,

ich wollte mal hier am board nachfragen, ob jemand Monomaker wie zb die folgenden einsetzt:
Brainworx control 2
DrMS - processor
NuGen Monofilter 4

Brainworx Control 2

bx_control V2 is a control listening tool and an M/S matrix with built-in Mono Maker & Stereo Width control. bx_control also features hi resolution metering for Peak and RMS levels in AES 17 and square wave formats.

Free upgrades for all existing bx_bundle customers and all customers who have bought bx_control V1 after Nov 1st, 2009! Please email us.

This nice little M/S tool can be used for a wide variety of sophisticated applications: chain any stereo plug-in (even tools from other vendors) into the Brainworx M/S matrix , control the Stereo Width, or mono out bass frequencies of stereo signals with our unique Mono Maker tool.

bx_control V2 offers solo listening to M (mono sum), S (stereo difference signal), L (left channel) or R (right channel) phase-corrected and mono-ed on both speakers or "in place" with its four dedicated solo buttons, another Brainworx invention. Easily swap channels with its L/R flip button.

bx_control also is a perfect M/S Recording Tool:
Use it as a latency-free M/S matrix in recording sessions.

Please download the bx_control V2 manual in the download section of our website site for all the details and a lot of tips & tricks. This little plug-in is a true “beast”…

DrMS puts you in control

DrMS presents a new way to approach the manipulation of stereo audio. It is based on MS (Mid-Side) processing, although DrMS splits the stereo signal into four sections rather than the normal two, giving you new levels of control: Zoom in, add Depth, change Width or any combination and more. DrMS takes you wherever you want to go in the stereo field.

Each of the four sections has mastering grade resonant high pass and low pass filters, plus a sample-based delay line to slightly shift the signal against the other sections. In addition to this, there is a Feedback section. The level and combination of all the different sections will result in various changes of the stereo field.

For easy A/B comparision between original and processed signal, an autogain circuit is build in to ensure a level matched output.

Dozens of useful applications

The flexible controls ensure a wide range of applications, both for mixing and mastering as well as for post production. Use DrMS for tasks going from simple MS encoding/decoding, over stereo field and depth enhancement, to fixing mono compatibility issues and more.
In any case, audio processed by DrMS stays 100% mono compatible!

To help you getting started, a bank of presets is included. These were developed by mix engineer Dylan '3D' Dresdow (Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson, Usher) and engineer/producer Emre Ramazanoglu (Shakira, Alexander McQueen, Lou Rhodes).

NuGen Audio Monofilter 4

Monofilter - Essential control for digital recording

If solid or natural sounding bass is a requirement in your recording projects, Monofilter provides the foundation for real power and definition.

The ear finds it difficult, if not impossible to determine the direction of low frequencies. This can often contribute to a lack of clarity and focus in the mix.

In general, natural sounding audio is phase coherent in the lower frequencies, and as a result, we tend to perceive phase inconsistencies as ‘weak’, ‘hollow’ or ‘flat’. As soon as recorded audio is in the studio however, the chances of introducing such artifacts are high. Adding stereo FX processing and using multiple mic. set-ups - the staples of modern recording - immediately bring the issue into play.

Many modern playback systems benefit from separate low frequency handling (Club PA, live rig, Home Cinema, HiFi, 2.1 Gaming systems etc.). Low frequency phase consistency balanced power distribution ensures optimal playback performance.

Monofilter allows you to align and balance low frequencies with the minimum of effort, leaving you with the same sound, yet louder, more focussed and better defined.
